Extend TRV?

Hi,

We landed in canada thru Open Work Permit
Visa - the counterfoil on my passport will expire in July 2023 while my Work Permit is valid till 02/2026
I know that I will still have a valid status and authorization to work and reside in Canada until 2026.
however, if I had to travel out of Canada after July 2023 what should I do to be able to return back

You would need to apply for a new TRV (not an extension).
