Extend Pr status? Possible? Parents sponsorship

Hello.

My parents received their PR Card 3 years ago but did not managed to move to Canada so far. Are there possibility to extend it? They did activate the Pr, but they need to live in Canada at least 2 years out of 5 years to get a renewal.


Appreciate any help.

The only ways to extend are going to involve them returning to Canada to stay.

They should return to Canada to live here as soon as they can. Once they return, they will need to spend 2 years straight in Canada in order to meet the residency obligation and then qualify to renew their PR cards. That's the approach they need to take.
