Hello Everyone

I have one year skilled job experience in Canada, and want to apply for Canadian Experience Class , do i still need LMIA to apply under Express Entry CEC. My representative saying that i must need LMIA to be eligible under EE.

Please advise

Thank You

Your representative is not telling you the truth. I would guess that 99% of all EE applicants don't have an LMIA. They are almost impossible to get.

Is it possible to apply for BC PNP ( new program SIRS) and CEC at the same time. I am not sure about SIRS processing time ( and BC PNP take forever) and little nervous to apply under Express Entry because invitations are unpredictable.

Strictly speaking, an LMIA is not required. However, people with an LMIA and an offer of permanent employment get an extra 600 pts in EE, assuring them of an invitation to apply.

If you don't have enough points, you will not get an invitation to apply.

Another way to get the extra 600 pts is to get a PNP nomination. But in that case, you will still apply through one of the EE programs - FSW, CEC, or FST...

Can i apply for BC PNP and CEC at the same time

I have 7 IELTS band, one year certificate, two year diploma, more that one year job experience.

Do they give points for two different programs or just one?

You can apply for pnp and express entry at the same time.
If you get the pnp, it will add 600 points to your express entry profile.
And yes they are different point systems

You cannot directly apply for CEC. You have to submit an "expression of interest" profile through express entry. If you qualify, your EOI will be placed into a pool of potential applicants. Based on your score in the Comprehensive Ranking System, you may (or may not) be offered an "invitation to apply" (ITA). This ITA will tell you what program you can apply to.

If you want to see if you qualify, you can try CIC's CRS tool -
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp

If you apply for a PNP program and are approved, you can update your EOI profile, which will give you the extra 600 pts.
