Express entry // study permit

Hi All,

I'm thinking to apply through the express entry system, but I dont think I will get an invite since the score won't be enough. I'm just wondering if there will be any issue if I applied through the express entry, and then change my mind to just apply for study permit to study for something in Canada? or Can both applications exist at the same time?

EE is fine, but you cannot have PR application and study permit (online) application at the same time as their objectives are poles apart.

What about if I try EE first, and if it doesnt work this year or next, I will just cancel the EE, and maybe go for study instead of PR application? in that case, does CIC look at the EE for the study permit and reject the study permit?

Yes, you can do that. No CIC does not look at the EE pool for that.
