I submitted my documents at the beginning of March 2020 and paid the application and biometric fees.
In April 2020 I received an email from CIC stating that I passed my medicals and I need to go do my biometrics.
Unfortunately due to COVID-19, all biometric processing centers have been closed and my application states that I need to get my biometrics done within 90 days of receiving the letter, which is the end of June.
I am sure they are aware of this situation but is it necessary for me to send CIC a notification that an extension is required?
Secondly, will CIC wait on my biometrics to process the rest of my application or will they check the rest of my documents in the meantime to speed up the process? In that way, once I am able to get my biometrics done I can get my PR as soon as possible
