Hello everyone. I have a question related to reference letter in which I'm in doubt related to salary and position.
I've worked in an IT company in Europe for more than a year. During mid-year, due to an internal agreement my salary was cut half(related to performance). How should I state this in the reference letter? Also, when I write the salary per week should I write the weekly salary until the first half of the year, or average weekly salary for whole year? I just couldn't be sure.

Thanks in advance, all the best to good people

Why not write salary as example, Jan to Mar - $500 per week
Mar to Present - $250 per week

In your letter of explanation just detail why the change in salary

Can I just say 'due to an interim agreement' or I should detail the actual reason of change such as because of performance etc...

You can say whatever you want as the reason

Probably should be truthful in case they call your company to verify. Especially as a decrease in salary should have no effect as its still paid full time employment.
