Hi:

I have a question related to Express.

I am trying to see if I am eligible to apply or.
1 counting my work hours - I am currently working at 2 places 1 as partime( but sometime full time hrs) and another as full time(37.5 hrs a week). Could someone let me know if I can combine both and count it as 1 year

For eg - job started june 2018 - still working worked 42 weeks more than 30 hrs and 5 weeks more than 20 hrs but less than 30hrs

Meanwhile I have another job started on November 2018 - still Working - worked 26 weeks more than 30 hrs.

So am I eligible to apply for express entry.

Let me know if any doubts. Thanks.

Even of you have two full time jobs in a period of time, "This still counts as one", said Gimli, son of Gloin.

You cannot combine the working hours of two jobs(being performed at the same time), that are less than a year worth of experience, to add up and make over a year experience.

The guidelines are VERY clear about this.

Part time job for 2 years = 1 year experience.
1 Full time job for 1 year = 1 year experience.
2 full time jobs for 1 year= 1 year experience.

I get what you are saying but not sure you got me right. so what I am saying is that my first job was full time till November and changed to part time after that and my other job is full time after that so can count my work experience like June to November (5 month) the 1st job and November till June the other which would add up to 1 year June 2018- June 2019. Thanks.
