Express entry - Question regarding profile making

Hi All,

I actually had a confusion regarding the duration of my 2 yr diploma that needs to be entered in my express entry profile. I started my diploma in Jan 2013 and completed it in Apr 2014 (which is 1yr and 4 months without a break). So upon asked by express entry, should i put the end date of my program as Dec 2014 that is 2 years from Jan 2013 or the date I actually completed my course. FYI I received my graduation certificate on June 2014. Please advise.

You should be putting the actual completion dates.

But that would make the duration of my course as 1 year and 4 months when it actually is a 2year diploma program. Did I do something wrong in completing it before the completion of two years?

Date stamped on the Graduation Certificate is what should be updated. I am not sure if we can claim 2 years when you have got the graduation certificate in 1.5 years.

What does your certificate say? 1 year diploma or 2? Either way, you have to put the dates you studied down.
