Dear Friends,

Reference to Express entry profile – employment history and Personal history

I saw many posts here that you can keep the - points claiming relevant work experience in the work history and non-relevant /non-points claiming work experience in the personal history side.

Could anyone who has got their VISA by following this format confirm this information.

I have 4 years of work experience-- 6 months at an old job, then 1.5 years at an old job, then 2 years at my current job. I did not need the experience from my old jobs in order to score high enough for an invitation, so I put them in my personal history section and only claimed my current 2 years of experience in my work history. No problem.

Yup, after I got my ITA I listed my other experience under personal history just as you described.

No, you only need letters and evidence for work that you are claiming points for (in the work experience section).

I have one work experience that is relevant but I can't get a proper letter of employment.
Will the officer find it strange if I don't try to claim points by putting it in personal history?
