Hi all,

Me and my wife are trying for PR in Canada.

My IELTS Scores are:

L:7.5; S:7; W:6 & R:6.5 and
NOC : 2141
ECA : B.E -4 years & PGD: 1 year (though I have done MBA full time)
Work Exp: 2 years in same NOC 2141

My Spouse's IELTS Scores are:
L:8; S:6.5; W:6.5 & R:6.5 and
NOC: 2171
ECA : B.E -4 years & PGD: 1 year
Work Exp: 2.5 years in same NOC 2171
.

We have friends Who are PR in Canada : Ottawa, Quebec.

I dont think with current IELTS scores for both, FSWP is applicable.

Can someone suggest with NOC and IETLS which PNP is best to opt for?

TIA:)

Hi,

I am assuming you are stating your credentials as stated in your ECA.

If either of you score min 7 in any 3 tests and 8 in any one in IELTS then you ll not need PNP and will directly get ITA based on that.

Thanks for the info.

I have done ECA from WES for both of us and IELTS too.
Since the scores did not come as predicted based on the performance in IELTS, we do not want to retake IELTS.

Other than retaking IELTS, I would be pleased to know other possibilities to get ITA.. :)

Hi,

Without IELTS. It would be difficult to get PNP as most provinces need either French language or valid job offer in that province.
Also Ontario, which gives exemption to the above conditions has already issued a large number of NOI and for that the CRS cutoff was 439. So the best solution for you would be, either of you appear for IELTS again and try and score better.

One question: does either of you have Canadian work experience or any relative in Canada? What is your present CRS score??

We have many acquaintances and friends to provide reference in Canada as I mentioned in my first post. Mostly in Ottawa & Quebec only.

Heard that there are provinces like PEI, Manitoba,.. which accepts IELTS upto CLB 4.
My CLB is 7 and my Spouse's in CLB-8. Fykip
My CRS Score comes around 380 and my wife's around 390.
