hi guys,
I have been working as a secondary school science teacher since 2012, after completing my BSc. then I completed my MSc in 2014 (Part time) and started to work under my supervisor as a molecular biologist in a part time basis(20 hours per week).

My questions are,
1. Can i mention molecular biologist as the primary occupation (because I am interested to find a job on this in Canada)?
2. Is it wise to mention secondary school teacher as the primary occupation since it has more work experience?
3. Can I find job for molecular biologist even though I have mentioned secondary school teacher as my primary occupation? (Because Molecular biologist can be included in the work history along with secondary school teacher)

Please help me ........................................................:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

More experience is not required for an occupation to become primary. To apply under Express Entry you need one year full time (30hr work week) work experience. Anything more helps but minimum 1 year is good.

Also once you get PR, it does not matter what you work as. So if you select teaching as primary occupation and NOC code and if you are issued PR. Once you go to Canada you can work in any field you want and do not have to stick to your profession if change is what you want.

Thank you very much for your reply.

You just need 1-Year Continuous Work Experience under one NOC to be eligible for the EE program. After the PPR and landing, you are free to choose any job that you prefer. Good luck.
