I currently qualify for Noc 0016 in terms of my previous experience and qualifications. One employer is willing to hire me and will currently start advertisng for this role in Calgary. Would be easy for him to get the lmia approved keeping in mind the unemployment rate in Calgary.

Also I will be working as a general manager and he has a construction company. I will hired few middle managers but he currently doesn't have middle managers would this be a problem as the job description states this "Senior managers in this unit group plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate, through middle managers,"

Thanks for your answers

If you search in job bank for noc 0016 in Calgary there are only 3 jobs listed. So 1, it's not really in demand. next your employer HAS to pay you the high wage for that role because of the skill level. That's currently $95 per hour or about $250,000 per year. You will have to prove this to get an LMIA.

Getting an lmia is harder than getting pr as your boss has to prove they can't find anyone else and prove that the salary above is paid to other past managers in that role.

So if your company can prove they interviewed people for a month, provide job adverts that were up for a month, prove they paid the last person that much or very close, and then you can prove you have the experience at that salary then MAYBE you'll get an LMIA.

Oh and as a side point, you won't have a boss. In this kind of role the only person hiring you will be HR or the board of directors. If you have a manager then 0016 is definitely NOT your code.

Trust me, these 00 roles are going to be impossible to fake. So good luck with that.

Depends entirely upon a match with the list of main duties for this NOC. A senior management role is for a division head, but it could involve a general manager supervising middle managers, as long as you are experienced in such a role. As stated above, if you would report to a senior manager, then you yourself won't be considered a senior manager yourself, unless you report to the likes of very senior managers/directors/trustees/regional directors etc.

Those 00 noc codes are for companies or corps w at least 50-100 ppl ...and ur company sounds like just few ppls right now :v

The company is around 30 employees. The owner wants to expand and wants a senior manager create policies oversees plan control manage the operations of the company and report directly to him. Also problably hired couple of middle managers. This company has been in operations for more than 10 years. There are few jobs advertise at with an annual salary of 85,000 to 100,000 per year noc 0016 like from Sr. Project Manager, Construction
Weis & Associates Inc. - Toronto, ON

This is not a fake Lmia as mentioned previously.
