Express Entry ITA before PNP Nomination

Hi guys...just wondering if anyone has encountered this...

I've lodged my EE profile but the CRS is not so high (i.e. 460) so I decided to apply for PNP.

What if I get an EE ITA few months later only to find out soon I also get a PNP nomination? How should I go about this?

I am in same boat as you, I applied for OINP in December 2016, my score at time was 438. My score as of today is 477 and I am yet to hear anything from OINP.
There no guarantee that we would get PR after recieving ITA, so just in case if we have PNP nomination we can enter the pool again with 600 points.

Bear in mind that if you accept an ITA for a federal program, the province will no longer be able to nominate you with that profile number and job bank validation code.

And you might as well get the federal ITA so you can live anywhere in Canada (except Quebec* spare me the mobility rights).

I believe the province can still send you letter of nomination which can used in future if required.

I created my EE profile on April 20th with a CRS score of 417. Then I re-wrote IELTS and my score jumped to 478. I am waiting for ITA now. I haven't applied to any province for PNP.

Meanwhile, what do I need to do? I have just started the process for police clearance certificates.

You can withdraw and receive your Money back as long as you have not received your AOR from OINP if you receive ITA. If you receive ITA after OINP AOR but before nomination then there is no refund. Anyone with 475+ has a very good chance of getting ITA in the upcoming draws

They will nominate only if you decline the ITA.

I doubt they will proceed with issuing the certificate, let alone the nomination, if they can't nominate you electronically (which accepting an ITA makes technically impossible).

You write to them and say you want to withdraw because you received/accepted an ITA.

Thanks for the replies so far. My concern is that my ielts is expiring end of October. It's likely that while I may get PNP by then the ielts might have expired by the time I get Federal ITA.

Good afternoon,

I am working in Ontario and my wife, and I just applied for the provincial nominee program under the foreign worker job stream yesterday Jan 1, 2019, our points are not that good for express entry right now, but in four months we will be close to 450 or even more.

I heard that we are not able to apply through Express entry if I am nominated and I will be forced to apply to the PR using the paper-based application which takes between 15 and 19 months, is that right? Also, we do not get the 600 points with this stream

Last, If I get the ITA before the nomination, can I apply through the express entry instead?
