Hi,
I am still not clear about the impact of "Express Entry" on existing programs of "CEC" & "Federal Skilled Worker". So, I want to understand it in a layman language, like:
say for example, if there is a limit 2000 applications in "CEC" & 3000 in "Federal Skilled Worker"; and "Express Entry" has short-listed & invited to 500 candidate to apply for PR. Then, will this 500 applications limit be deducted from "CEC" and/or "Federal Skilled Worker" limit ?
Or, the "Express Entry" will have its own limit which will not conflict with the others programs ?

Thank for your reply in advance !

Is Express Entry going to replace CEC from Jan 2015 ? If so , then we would not have individual cap for CEC.

Express entry is a queueing system. You setup your profile and you will then hopefully receive an invite to apply for PR. At this point, you put in your CEC application.

So it doesn't replace CEC or FSW etc, it just decides who CIC wants to apply.

There is no limit on NOC codes whereas It will be directly controlled by CIC by sending the invitation to apply PR for those people whose ranking is high as per ranking system.
