Hello guys, I hope you are doing well. I would need your help because I am really not sure what to do in this case.
Me and my common law partner are going to apply for EE most likely through FSW. I will be the main applicant.
I have a master degree(evaluated by WES), IELST R9/L8.5/W7/S7, I have 18 months foreign work experience as a project manager (NOC 1221) and 1 year Canadian experience in NOC 6211. Later, I have also worked 6 months (40hrs/week) as a project manager (in Canada).
My partner has his master degree but IELTS score is : R8/L8/S7/W6. He also finished 2 years studies in Canada in the private college.
My question is. Can I claim points for my Canadian work experience in NOC 6211 also in case that it is not the same NOC as my main one (6211) and in case it was through IEC?
With this experience from canada, our score should be around 499 and without it 451.
Do you think my partner should take IELTS test again?
Or do you have any other suggestions?
I will really appreciate your help.
Thanks a milion!
