express entry file number

Hi experts,

I had applied for Express entry back in 2017 and that application is now expired(didnt get an invitation), I also accidentally revoked the account in 2018. Now am applying for the EE again, and there is a question which says if I have applied for Express Entry before? should I say, yes? if yes, is there a way to find out my expired EE file number, because I dont have a copy of that.

The answer will be No as you did not apply for Express Entry before. Submitting the EE profile is an Expression of Interest, and not applying in itself.

Hey Thanks a lot for getting back. I actually just got off a call with CIC customer rep.. after a long wait. The person asked me to say yes, that I had applied, and put "unknown" in the profile number column, and later submit a Letter of Explaination saying that I never got an Invite.
