I am also in the same boat !! 7.5 months since AOR.. i gave cic a call one month ago and agent told me that addional verification is going on right now

I already ordered 2 sets of notes, it showed security screening, and then some verification activities after that, some people say it's only quality assurance, some say it's the last step, I don't really know since a lot of it was redacted. I guess I will just wait for the response another month or so, then I will order another set of notes.

verifications are quality assurance related for sure.

Anyone on this thread had their AOR in December and still waiting? I completed 8 months yesterday, and stuck in Backgroud checks since once month!! anyone with the same situation?

I am also stuck for 8+ months, Dec-2016 AOR. File stuck under IP2 since April-2017.

Everyone go through security screening but it is just that cases are different. Sometimes it might include a request for informtation from other bodies in different countries and you really wait for those to respond so your application move forward... I guess there is nothing we can do but wait...

My situation is complicated. Main applicant, my wife, is Singaporean and I am Indian accompanying spouse. I have lot of travel history cause of work in past 7-8 years. Don't know when the wait will end.

very much so. check Feb 2016 and onward threads. security screening can take a year
