Sort of... the usual changes are NN -> NS -> NN -> IP... by this stage the A11.2 are usually done. By skipping the NS phase the unknown is even less known...

The only way to know for sure is by ordering GCMS notes... since you've reached IP status it's probably as good time as any to get them (if you're planning to do that).

Since it's been nearly 2 months the likelihood that they've finished a11.2 is high I suppose.

Since I am an inland applicant, I assume my LVO is Ottawa, and my application won't be send to other locations, right?

I ordered GCMS a week ago so hopefully everything comes out OK.

Could you please share info on how to order GCMS notesfor inland application?

I think you can only assume that if the Ottawa VO is the closest VO to your current address. Otherwise your VO maybe elsewhere. But even if that's the case it doesn't mean it will get transferred, it may just stay in Ottawa.

Good luck with GCMS notes.

Here you go:

Just follow the information on the website. I found it pretty straight forward.

I live in Alberta. I thought for all inlands the whole application process is done in Ottawa.

Good luck with GCMS notes.
Thanks! I definately need that 8)

I think the majority do stay in Ottawa, but the problem is if they need to interview you for some reason, then Calgary or Edmonton will probably work better for you.. ;)

I just applied for GCMS notes through law info (whatever). Fingers crossed!

Weird, spoke with an agent, she said that my file is in Ottawa and it will stay there unless i need an interview, but she also said that they only begin processing applications after 18 weeks has passed(Review of eligibility) so after 18 weeks they start working on files for FSW Outland. i'm confused as i see ton of people get medicals passed and get PPR within 2 month.
Am i missing something here ?

Maybe ur local VO is Ottawa since u r residing in US right now? Just my guess.

Intersting.Did she happen to say how long it usually takes after those 18 weeks? lol.

Sounds very weird (and wrong) to me. Quite a few FSW-O applicants from November have received PPR. Plus, the purpose of transferring the file to another file is not just for the interview - Its called "Workload Redistribution" which suggests that since Ottawa can't handle all the applications by itself, it transfers some applications to Local Visa Offices (and this VO is generally chosen based on the country of residence of the applicant). Moreover, extremely few EE applicants have received an interview invite (per reports on the forum) but almost all of the outland applicants have had their applications transferred to the LVO responsible for their country of residence so what the "agent" is saying is kind of misleading and false IMO.

EDIT: Also, for some outland applicants (I can speak for applicants from India), the progression of the BG status from NN>>NS>>NN might indicate that the file is transferred to the LVO. My BG progressed as mentioned above so, my file has probably been transferred to NDVO around 18th November (16 days after my AOR). I will update the details when I get my GCMS notes.

Hey raj, I got my first update after AOR today and my BG changed from NN to IP. is this normal? Also I was wondering at what stage A11.2 is passed?

Of course it is normal. However, no news is good news. You can order GCMS notes to check the status of your A11.2. Very roughly, if it has been at least 1.5 months since AOR, A11.2 checks would have probably passed.

Thanks viveks but it sure is kinda hard to. lol.

Pls share the timeline of the progress of your application so far just so I know since we have the same AOR.

Thanks.

It is in my signature. Could you share your timeline as well?
