DoubleS.... most important aspect is to get ITA. CEC category doesn't guarantee you an ITA.
It will only save you from showing bank balance. However, in order to claim points on Education basis, you are in CEC/FSW, points will help you to get close to top ITA receivers.

In fact. I just got an email from my parents to say that last time I requested the a sealed copy of my transcripts (Think it was around 2 years ago for something else) they sent me two sealed envelopes. If WES will accept the signed envelope, is there any date requirements? I.e. do WES state that it has to of been produced within the past 6 months? The transcript is only dated with my graduation date, but the letter will say the date that the transcripts were sent to me. Which I suspect is either sometime in 2013 or 2014. So they actually already have the official transcripts in the sealed envelope, just not sure whether there is an expiry date from a WES stand point.

DoubleS, you should be an immigration lawyer, you are very knowledgeable about this process!

I scanned through the WES requirements again and did not see a date requirement in terms of when a transcript is requested/sent, so in my opinion you should use the one you have. I hope this is your break through and you can get your ECA done.

Thank you for your kind words; I really appreciate it.

Hopefully it all works out! Would save a lot of time. All being well, if I get a good IELTS score I should have in the region of 500 points, from the CRS test I did. It would be higher, but the 2 years experience I have so far, 8 months were in the summer, 12 were on my co-op term and then I only have 4 months on my post graduate work permit. Not really sure why they only accept work experience once you have graduated. Especially as I am doing the same job as I was on my co-op because they offered me a permanent job once I was done university.

Hopefully being from the England I will score high in the IELTS test, would be a little ironic if I didn't!

500 will be a really good score, I'm thinking once the score falls back below 600 you would get an ITA, so hoping all the paperwork can get done ASAP, so you can get into the pool.

That would be very ironic, so you better ace it. BTW, why aren't you doing the CELPIP, I heard that it's a little less difficult than the IELTS. I did the CELPIP, and I found that if you do some practicing to get used to the format of the exam it's actually quite manageable.

Haven't heard much about the CELPIP. In Calgary there are spots for the IELTS in June, so was just going to go for that. How much is the CELPIP? Did you get a good score in the CELPIP?
