My express entry application got cancelled today as incomplete. I have just submitted translated version of my marriage certificate by certified translator instead of both original in Bengali and translated one. I have submitted my application from inside Canada.

Here is the message from IRCC –

”Marriage certificate - If a supporting document is in a language other than English or French, you must provide a copy of the original document as well as a version translated by a certified translator. The applicant must provide IRCC with: the English or French translation, an affidavit from the person who completed the translations, and a certified photocopy of the original document. ”

As per IRCC, I am no longer a candidate for Express Entry. Therefore, I have to submit a new application.

I was wondering if anyone has this similar experience and if still is there any way I can reopen my application by requesting through IRCC web form or any other sources. Any suggestion would be highly appreciated.

There is no way to reopen a closed application as far as I know. Unfortunately, you need to apply again.
