Cheers!
Thanks for the info. :D
I was hoping I had a chance at being in Ottawa. They seem to move applications and PPR's faster. ;) Thanks a bunch!

Is it taking around 6 months for BR applicants to get PPR or more? I remember there were some people who took almost 9 months to get their PPR. Just wondering...

lbrambilla took over a year! It depends! The general thought is that SPVO is quite slow... Have you ordered you GCMS notes?

Congratz to the recent nominated!

I have a question for the ones who landed already.

I will land in about 3 weeks and was wondering about the goods and goods to follow forms.

Are there official Canada forms for that or you can basically just list the items?

In the past there was the B4 form, but I do not think they use it anymore.

Thanks.

Yes I have! I ordered it in the end of January. It should arrive by the first days of March - I hope. But I'm still reaching 3 months of wait after AOR... I hope I get CoPR before it reaches 6 months. :)

hehehe... Você e a torcida do Corinthians... ;-)

Well, I don't want to rain in your parade but I don't think that ANYONE that has gone through the SPVO has managed PPR in 3 months... BUT stay positive! You could always be the first one! ;D

Wow... That was REALLY fast! What's your secret? Who do you know in the SPVO? How did you manage that??? Tell us... TELL US!!!

On a more serious note, do you remember how your BC changed? Did it go from NN to NS on 11/11 (when your meds passed) and then back to NN around the 25/11 when it was transferred?

Since I'm a PNP-O and will also be using SPVO I think mine (and a few other people here) will probably see a similar pattern...

I really don't know why, but some things might have hastened my process:
- I have no travel history, not even for tourism.
- My letter of explanation was extremely detailed, and that may have made things much easier for the officers.
- As I'm self-employed, I had to take third-party declarations about my duties, and those declarations had to be sworn affidavits. Furthermore, I have sent many other documental proofs about my link to the company. As far as I know, nobody has been contacted to confirm the information.
- We're off the student season for SPVO. Therefore, there must be much less workload for them. That means other recent applicants might get a faster processing like mine.

About the change in BG check status, it went exactly as that. It was showing NS since 19/10, changed to NN on 17/11 and then to started on 30/11. MyCIC status got updated to "approved" exactly on 25/01, the same date printed on my COPR form.

Excellent! Thanks for the information.. having no travel history probably SPEEDS up a lot the security check which is said to be the longest process. Well done anyhow! Good luck in Canada!

WOW! This really gives us hope! I mean, I know that you're probably the exception to the rule, but still... Congrats!!!
