Hi, guys!
After 7 months and 25 days, the PPR finally came. SPVO sent me this afternoon - which is good for all of us because it shows they are working on EE applications! I got my RPRF request along with the passports one. I hope everybody here gets their own soon. My timeline is below:

AOR - Feb 19th
Schedule 4 Request - Mar 24th
RPRF and PPR - Oct 14th
Landing - before Christmas

Concordo até certo ponto... acontece que uma das funções do consulado (não lembro onde li isso mas lembro de ter lido) é justamente ser o braço do governo Canadence aqui no Brasil... Por exemplo, se a sua carta de referencia é em português e Ottawa determinou que precisa ser averiguada, alguém do consulado tem que ligar lá e verificar com a empresa em português. PCC da Policia Federal também deve ser o consulado que valida. Como tem algumas coisas são da jurisprudência do consulado fazer acho q não dá para devolver...

Concordo também... mas nesse caso, deveriam reduzir a quantidade de checks. De toda forma, as cartas em inglês de empresas brasileiras deveriam cair na mesma situação, não so as em português.

Mas com a saída do PPR do camarada aí acima, as esperanças foram renovadas... rs...

Ja mandei dois e-mails e abri um CSE... amanha é dia de ligar de novo, tanto pro canada quanto pra Sao Paulo.

Sei que vai adiantar pouca coisa, mas minha preocupação é não ter que fazer exame medico de novo. Os meus vencem em dezembro (final).

Acabei de receber exatamente a mesma resposta. Com uma diferença: comentaram que eu deva refazer os exames médicos.

Que bonito... só 4 meses alem do normal.

Qual a validade do exame médico? Pelo jeito terei que refazer o meu também....

Frustrante essa espera, não só pelo aspecto $$ mas também por essa falta de informação (demorada) do escritório do Brasil. As vezes me pergunto como é que outros países não tão desenvolvidos como o nosso conseguem terminar o processo em 3-4 meses e aqui vai demorar perto de 9 para a maioria.

That's...insane. I'm not a PNP but I definitely can feel your pain.

What bothers me is that they give you an "average time of 6 months", but now they say that all the PNP are being processed in 10 months. What's even worse is that we can't even complain too much. We must always bow our head and ask "kindly" for information. So frustrating.

As I said, I'm not a PNP, but a FSW. But honestly, I believe we are all in the same boat. So far, I got no answer from SPVO. I'm sending one email per week but all I get is silence.

O exame é válido por um ano. Fiz o meu em dezembro, aí tive uma recusa que atrasou meu processo em janeiro. Reenviei tudo em março. Mas mantive o mesmo exame médico na esperança de sair ainda dentro dos seis meses.

Também acho. À espera, a ansiedade, o ato de ter a vida paralisada por conta disso. Tudo contribui pra uma situação de estresse. Mas eles não parecem ligar mesmo.

I applied using the services of a representative, so I'm not sure about my BG check status (no access to MyCIC).

I hope SPVO is answering emails saying to wait until January to keep people from calling and sending emails all the time. I wish all of you get a positive answer as soon as possible.
