Wow... You're my hero!!!! You managed to get through to SPVO... HOW???

Although I find it strange how is it your is in a queue for assessment and yet people with an AOR much later than you already have a PPR... How is the queue defined I wonder? Eeny, meeny, miny, moe...

I suppose this leads me to believe that there are two separate queues, one for FSW and one for PNP...

They answered me by email!
I also believe in this (PPR and FSW having different queues).

Just got our passports back today, I can't explain how happy we are right now!

We are planning on landing next weekend at the boarder of Maine and NB! I will follow the thread for a little longer and I'd like to keep in touch with you guys.

Guys, we got our passports back from VAC RJ last week. It took us 15 bussiness days, but all in all 21 consecutive days to get it! They sure take their time doing that!

Hope everyone is luckier with PPR and passport/VISA processing.

Anyways, now that it's all finished we're getting ready to leave. We'll be landing in June. Any last minute/months tips?

I also believe in this (PPR and FSW having different queues).

I've been able to get in touch with them via email twice before about generic issues with regards to PR application (like is a public sworn translator was ok or if I needed to use on registered with them, etc.)... but I've also had many emails ignored.

I tried once by phone and gave up after waiting for about 35 mins on hold (their answering machines said phone calls must be urgent and relating to ongoing VISA processes (so my generic query was probably not going to be answered anyway).

In December I tried asking them WHO could witness my Common Law Union form as public registrar in Brazil can only witness Portuguese documents... I got the standard response whcih was basically a copy paste of whats on the IRCC site. Pretty useless really.

All in all my experience this far with SPVO hasn't been great and I've a feeling that's about to get worse as I wait for them to process my PR application... But hey, life is unfair I guess.

Sure, I'll add you to the list... I'll also try to add a column for the processing time too, but what I've noticed so far is that FSW get processed quite quickly and PNP takes a long time I'm afraid.

Let's be positive and hope that you'll be there by the summer!

Hi, thanks for the reply guys. The reason I'm concerned is because there seems to be a current trend of medicals being passed based on date of AOR. Most feb applicants with AOR close to mine have gotten medicals passed a while back. In fact PNP outland candidates from feb 20 and up are already getting their medicals passed status...

Another thing that worried me is the unusual status update, since most people go straight from not needed to passed. Very few get this "We are reviewing the results of your medical exams" message, and when they do, it`s usually followed by an additional doc or additional exams request. It's really mind boggling!

I guess there's really not that much I can do, but keep waiting... Do you all think it's too soon to order GCMS notes? My background status changed from N/A to not started on the same day my medical status changed.
