Expired workpermit

Hi,
I have applied for my PR and few weeks before I got the invitation. Now I am collecting all the documents, almost all of them are collected but left with the indian PCC. I have applied for that too from ottawa' office, but the problem I am facing is my work permit is expired, so what should I do in this case? They are asking me, for my implied status. I have submitted my work permit application form with the payment reciept, according to them thats not legit. They are asking for the actual conformation but that will take atleast 3 months and I only have 1 month to submit my PR docs.

Who is asking you, who is "they"? You are not on implied status unless you have submitted your PR documents, you cannot work. Also you can't get confirmation of implied status, there is no letter or proof unfortunately
