Expired Study Permit (Need Strong Advice)

Hello everyone,
I hope you are all having safe and good days during this Covid-19 pandemic.
My question is; I have finished my language school studies on December 18, 2019, and I just got my acceptance letter from a college on March 27, 2020. So I've spent 102 days without applying for the restoration of my visa and without being in school. the expiry date of my visa is March 31, 2020 (in 2 days). Is it okay if I apply tomorrow ( before my visa expires) because right now I don't want to go back to my country while there is a big spread of the virus. PLEASE HELP, THANKS FROM NOW.

you probably should apply to extend your permit asap. you can still study under implied status after your study permit expires

Thanks, I applied the day before my visa expires and I'm waiting for the answer now
