You should wait until the appeal period has passed before you apply - longer if possible. Make sure you include evidence of ties to your home country (property, job) so that CIC doesn't think you're going to try to use the visitor visa to live in Canada. Understand there is no guarantee the visitor visa will be approved.

I am going to apply for tourist visa somewhere is January.
the reason I am giving to visit my son or husband. Not really sure.
Unfortunately their PR expiring on the 21 OCT 2016 and they did not full fill their RO.
Can I still apply for Tourist visa? Because I need their inviting letter.
Please guide. I miss my family

I am going to apply for tourist visa somewhere is January.
The reason is to visit my husband ( filling up the form)
Unfortunately his PR expiring on the 21 OCT 2016 and he did not meet his RO.
I need his invitation letter. Will that effect his PR status?
Pls guide
