Expired PR - Please Help

I was 17 years old when my family and I first landed in Canada, we stayed for about 14 months but had to leave.
Sadly I don't meet the 730 day residency obligation and now I am 23 years old.
My PR card expired February of this year and I was wondering what I should do to avoid any problems entering the country.
I don't even know how I would go about entering the country with an expired PR card, if I contact the Canadian embassy in the country I'm in now (Egypt) would they deny me entrance to the country?
What should I do?

I did search for similar situations prior to posting but I did not find anything close. :S
It would be a great help if you were to post a link of the post you are referring to.

If you want to commit to settling in Canada now, you can apply for a travel document at the embassy and state as the reason for returning that you were a minor when your parents made you leave Canada and you are now trying to return at the earliest opportunity since you became an adult.

However, you should do it as soon as possible because the older you get, you are slowly closing that window. Your chances of getting it would have been even better if you had done is soon after turning 19 which is the age of majority in Canada but I still think you have a chance even now, especially if you were studying and financially dependent on your parents. It doesn't hurt to try anway.

Once you get to Canada, you can apply for a new PR card based on your travel document having been issued but you should not leave Canada for the next 2 years because if something happens to the PR card when you are outside Canada and they see that they just gave you a travel document to return under H&C reasons and you left again, they might not give you another TD. You should at least meet the 2 yr. requirements before you leave again.
