We have booked a family vacation to Jamaica and have realized that my Father's PR card expired. We tried to expedite the process but didn't meet the requirements as this was our fault. My Father holds an Italian passport. I understand that there is a 'loophole' in the system and you are able to cross the American boarder with a personal vehicle.
Can my Father board the plane from Toronto, Canada to Montgeo Bay, Jamaica and enjoy his week in Jamaica and on the way home can we book an alternate flight from Montgeo Bay, Jamaica to Buffalo, New York? From there I would pick him up at the Buffalo Airport and drive him over the boarder back into Canada?
I am aware as an Italian Citizen he requires an ESTA card to fly to the states; is there any other requirements? Also is this entire process safe and legal?
