Expired PR but married to Canadian Citizen

After living in Canada for 1 year and receiving PR cards we returned to UK, now looking to move back to Canada, can I apply for a PR card or PRTD from UK? Is there a chance I can loose my PR status as ive been out so long or am I ok as im married to a C citizen?

Apply for a PRTD. You can only apply for a PR card from within Canada. The fact you have been living with a citizen means your PR status is safe. When you apply for the PRTD, make sure you include evidence of this in the application to prove you fall under this exception.
