Hello I am in financial trouble as my bank froze my account in home country and I am not able to pay my second year tuition fees. I was sponsoring my fiance for a 3 year diploma course so I have to work in Canada. My courses were independent 2 year courses with valid student visa till May 2020 please advise me should I apply for work permit or get married in Canada and opt for spouse visa so that I can work full time and pay her fees. Kindly help me.

Spouses of international students are not guaranteed SOWP. If you are not planning on returning to school after the summer you shouldn't be working. It also will take many months to first get married, get a marriage certificate and apply for SOWP. Have you lived together for 1 continuous year? If so, you could apply for SOWP as common law. You'd nave to prove you lived together for 1 year but no guarantee you will get SOWP. There is no guarantee you would get approved.

Thank you so much for helping me. I am really grateful to all you. I am advised to apply for Post graduate work permit based on last completed course and then after 1 year apply for SOWP.
