Hello Members,

I have recently received COPR as my PR was approved. But, I have been married in 05/13 and couldn't report to CHC. I received PR in Oct, 2013 and since then in dilemma what to do. Now, my wife is also pregnant. My questions are:
Should I land and complete the landing procedure without adding my wife?
Add my wife and then tell CHC that she is pregnant also and due in July'14... In that case how long does it take to sponsor both my wife and new born on July'14.
Will there be any problem with my PR status itself?
Do I have to go through the process from scratch or I have to do only for my wife and new born ?

Please answer and help.

If you land using the CORP you have now - then you will never be able to sponsor you wife. You will also be committing misrepresentation (lying) by landing as a single person when you are in fact married. If this misrepresentation is discovered by CIC, then your PR status may be revoked.

You have no choice but to return your CORP to the VO, tell them that you are now married and complete all of the paperwork required to add your wife to your application. You should also tell them that your wife is pregnant.

Whatever you do, do NOT land using the CORP you have now.
