Experience should be continuous

I have BS Communication Systems Engineering. I worked about 2 years and 3 months and then resigned and started MS in Telecom engineering which took me two years and then I had a break of about 7 months after graduation (My new employer took too long to arrange my visa) and now its been one year I am working here.

My work is not continuous. Am i eligible for express entry under skilled worker program? What is the minimum amount of time needed for continuous work? isn't it one year?

For FSW stream, you need at least 1 year of continuous work experience in NOC O, A, B.

Nov 2011-Feb 2014 work
Oct 2013-Oct 2015 MS
Oct 2015-May 2016 waited for contract/visa etc
May 2016 until now: Working

What should I write in work experience.
2-3 years OR 3-4 years
There is a gap in between work. Is it ok or gap isn't acceptable?
