Hi All,

I showed work experience of 6 months under my express entry profile before getting an ITA.
Now I need to give an experience letter for it.
But the company has been closed down so I'm unable to get any letter.

Any suggestions as to what i can do?

Scenario 1. If you have not claimed points for this 6 months work experience, you can choose to put this work experience in personal history, if you do that, you do not need to submit any letter of experience... But please double/triple check that if you move this work experience your points should not come down.
Scenario 2. If you have to claim the work experience and you are in a limbo because of a company shut down.. Then can you get hold of an ex colleague/manager of yours and ask him to provide this letter of reference, you can notarize this letter. Also include in the letter a (link/reference if you have one) that the company has ceased operation ....

Adding to that, submit as many official documents as you can (i.e Offer letter, promotion letter, contract, release letter, payslips, tax documents. etc.)

I have checked my CRS is not being affected with this 6 months of work experience.
I can transfer it to my personal history tab.

As fafr as additional documents are concerned. We shall attach it with the letter of explanation?

You can if you want to, but I do not see the need for it since it is not affecting your score... anyhow you re declaring and providing information about your 10 yrs of activity through the personal history as well...

Yes exactly.

Theres no need, even the document upload section doesnt require it. I can always mention in my letter of explanation if they have any questions regarding that. As far as the other experience letters are concerned. I can attach offer letters with it. And i can also give pay slips for my current job.

Would that be fine?

As far as your letter of reference for other jobs is bullet proof(i.e. meets the requirements what IRCC officers/agents wants to see), no need to attach payslips, etc....
