One of my friends want to apply for Canadian skilled immigration but here is what her concern is. Could anyone give expert opinion and help on this?
Her issue is that her employer, the largest bank in Pakistan, has a standard process of issuing experience certificates in which the bank mentions only internal grade but not functional title. She is working as Senior Credit Officer in bank. but her experience letter says, she is working in the bank as "OG III" (her internal HR grade) since xxxxx. Bank has refused to give her a certificate with functional title as it is not their policy. I spoke to a friend in MCB HR and he says, even if he goes out of the way to accommodate, what if the certificate contents failed during verification. Reason being, if the certificate is received by someone else in HR department of bank, they might refuse to verify it since it would be created against the company approved template which only mentions internal HR grade. In this situation, what is/are the options for her to apply? Otherwise, if she had the certificate and JD from the bank, she could have applied under NOC 1122 confidently as she qualifies by all means. She has also cleared her IELTS for this purpose.
