Experience Letter address mismatch

Hello all

I am about to complete my 1 year experience requirement but need advice regarding a maybe small issue with my experience letter. I was living at a temporary residence before getting my now job and had that address at my employee file. But I had never officially got that address changed with Service Ontario and lived there for only a short period of time, Now my employer put that address in the experience letter and it doesn't appear on my SIN/Service Ont. records. With COVID the HR staff is pretty non responsive and I wanted some advice if this mismatch could be an issue

You shouldn't have any issues.... Also, you could briefly talk about this to provide clarification when you apply, in a LOE, but it's not a big deal, no application would be refused for this

How do you even change your address for the sin number? I’ve never changed it but I’ve changed my physical address several times (as appears in my T4 forms) - I thought they’d update it bases on your taxes.

Btw, CRA sends me all the tax receipts at my current address, so I assume there’s no need to change it as long as you have it on you tax file

By SIN number I meant with Service Ontario. That is the universal address with CRA, provincial and federal offices I guess. I am confused, should I list in the application file but I don't have government proof showing this.

You do not need to notify Service Canada about a change of address unless you are waiting to receive a confirmation of SIN letter.
