Experience for FSW

Dear Seniors,

I am having an experience of only 16months(meeting NOC requirement) all other years are blank.

but I do have addl experience of 3 years between 2000 and 2003.

Does CHC considers 4 + years of experience in Total, Please suggest....

CIC will only count the years of experience that meets the NOC requirement.

Allow me to correct what sheikh958 has said. Those 3 years will be counted if they were earned under occupations listed in Skill Type 0, Skill Level A or B of NOC 2011. The Application Guide for FSW 2013 clearly states the following,

"In order to receive points for all of the jobs you have had over the past ten years, your work experience must be in one or more occupations listed in Skill Type 0, Skill Level A or B of NOC 2011."

Please note that the condition of having one year experience in eligible NOC is the requirement for eligibility to apply as Skilled Worker. Once you are eligible to apply then points for experience are awarded for those jobs also which may not be in the current list of eligible occupations but fall under the above mentioned Skill types.

so they will consider 18months (within 2003 to 2013-these 18 months purely under present NOC list) or 41/2 years ....pl clarify

Impossible to say.

You haven't told us if the work you had for the three years was Skill Type 0, Skill Level A or B
