Hi,
Does Experience class not existing any more?
I applied by experience class and I got my PR on 22/8/2012, the grace period was 2 years but I couldn't catch the date 01/01/2015 due to my absence dates (holidays out of Canada)
As far as I know the waiting period was extended to 1460 days out of 6 years after the date 01/01/2015.
It seams it's unfair,
Does the government going to change this period?
Good luck to All

maybe i am the only one but having read your post 4 or 5 times i am having a hard time understanding what you are saying. Are you referring to residency requirement as it is not clear the way you have described things.

Your question makes no sense. What are you asking about? Applying for PR? Keeping your PR status? Qualifying for citizenship?

Then this is the wrong forum section to ask your question isn't it?

But just to let you know they are restoring to the old laws for citizenship requirements. It's just the matter of time for the new ones to kick in. Also on the same note the period you spent in Canada before obtaining your PR will be counted as half day up to a full year towards your Citizenship, meaning if you were here for 3 years (on study/work permit) before you got your PR, they will count it as 1 year + 2 years after your PR and you are eligible for Citizenship.
