Experience certificate with old(expired) passport number mentioned

Hi all
I have an overall experience of 10+ years and all in project management area.

I have already got my experience certificates from previous employers (two companies amounting to 8 years) and currently working in my third company.But in the experience certificates which I got, my expired passport number is mentioned.Do I need to get it corrected to include new passport number or attaching old passport copy will be fine or is there any other alternative or no need to bother at all?

That should not be an issue. you may explain that in your LOE and attach the bio page of this expired passport .

And also in my new passport, old number is also mentioned. So I guess may not become an issue.

There is no format for LOE.
You need to kindly and clearly explain to the officer anything that may not be crystal clear or deviate from exactly what IRCC requests.
