There is no specific CEC requirement that states you need to work in the field you studied. Unless you are performing heart surgery when you are supposed to be a baker, this will not play a role.
You would see this come into play when applying for a study permit...whereas the VO would consider your background and determine whether the desired credential is related to your already obtained qualifications. This is primarily used to determine the credibility of an application...so, whether the applicant is actually interested in attending studies or whether he is looking to enter the country for other purposes.
ohhk..thnx.. so mean I did a bachelors of pharmacy from back home and I did chemical lab tech here in toronto. so if I work in any pharmacy drug store then after a year I could get eligible for the PR under CEC..?
