Expected start date of employment when I'm already working

My employer was submitting the application for an LMIA exempt job offer based on an OINP nomination. One of the fields was the expected start date of employment. I'm already working here, but we can't select a past date. We set it to the date my current PGWP work permit ends and submitted the offer like that. Did I screw up?

How did your employer do with the job offer? Because the details on the job offer has to match the details on the Employer Portal, and if you have been working for the company you might have already received a job offer with different detail information about the beginning and the end of the employment.
Did the company had to create a different job offer that matches the details on the Employer Portal?

The letter of employment they issued stated any differences in pay etc from the original job offer.

But the original job offer had a different start date and finished date, didn't? Because you said you have been working for them before applying. How did you match them?

I didn't really say anything for that. The original job offer was submitted along with the letter of employment. I guess the people who processed the application figured it out. If anything, they'll call your employer to confirm.

I ended up applying through Express Entry, sorry!
