no no....what happened was i found a new job but had to obtain a new work permit...so by the time the new work permit came, the job was eliminated due to the economic situation and unfortunately i couldnt have my old job because my old employer already found a replacement for me. so now im kind of stuck. also i just found out that i am not eligible for EI as u need to be on an open work permit for that. so now i have a work permit for another 2 years but no job.
