I was given an exclusion order on Dec 27 2019 for taking unauthorized employment, and entering Canada without a visa( actually I went to border for flagpoling and although I had the visitor record document with me, I didn't have the sticker on passport. So they considered it as I entered without a visa.) and left Canada on 19th Jan. I waived the prra application, paid for the flight from my pocket. now I know that I can't enter Canada before 1 year and can't make any other applications before 6 months. My question is, suppose I manage to get an lmia from my former employer in Toronto, what are the chances of getting work permit approved.

Unfortunately, very low.

You're better off applying for PR if you get the LMIA, but disclose everything including the unathorised employment.

You would need professional help on this.

I'm not saying it's impossible but the chances are very low.

Thanks for the response. The thing is, I have legal work experience of 2 years so I was hoping I'll be able to get a closed work permit. Also, last time the lmia was approved but it got cancelled as they issued exclusion order. But I think you're right professional opinion is the best option right now
