through mix up with visas got issued a exclusion order anyone going through the same thing ???My wife and I are currently going through spouse sponsorship.

Just wondering should there be any reason why I wont get it??

Your PR visa cannot be approved while the exclusion order is still in place. However once a year passes and the exclusion order is lifted, there should be no issues getting PR.

Yes so I sent my application in April I was very honest photo copy all my exclusion order paperwork etc it application was sent back and they requested proper size photos and I forgot to sign one of the sheets .they didnt mention the exclusion order or anything like that.Can they still proceed with my application or will it be on the shelf untill 18jan 2018???also when I fly back on 18th Jan 2018 should I have any issues???Cheers means alot the reply.

They can't complete processing of your application until after Jan 18, 2018. Because you submitted the sponsorship application before the exclusion order expired, it's possible CIC may ask you to complete an ARC.

Yes - it's always possible you might run into issues entering Canada after an exclusion order. Re-entry into Canada is never guaranteed. You'll want to bring evidence that demonstrates you have strong ties to your home country and have no plans on remaining in Canada long term. You may need to bring additional evidence depending on the reasons why you received the exclusion order.

They'll still process your spousal sponsorship application, but if they approve your application before the time the exclusion order is up, you'll be required to submit an ARC (authorization to return to Canada). This is a seperate application from the sponsorship application.

Yup, I'm under an exclusion order as well. I applied for spousal sponsorship with some months left under exclusion, still its worth applying now, the couple hundred dollars they want for the ARC are nothing compared to spending more time away from loved ones.

You can contact CBSA and get your passport back, just show them you got a passport request from immigration and they should give it back.

My lawyer already wrote a letter along with the ppr letter to the CBSA officer who seized it but still havent heard anything back i just hope this doesnt cost problems for me im already excited and thankyou to God for this ..

You shouldnt worry, they will get back to you they just work slow, bureaucracy..
