Hi all,

My wife and I are not planning to include the following documents with our application:

6 - Original of completed Statutory Declaration of Common-Law Union (IMM 5409), if you have a co-signer and he or she is your common-law partner.

12 - Original of completed Use of a Representative (IMM 5476), if applicable.

The above documents do not apply to us. Is it okay to send in our whole application, minus those pages, or is it better to include and write 'NOT APPLICABLE' on the top of them? We called CIC, and the one guy we spoke to said it'd be fine to send them in without.

What do you suggest?

Thanks!

on your checklist that u must include...don't tick the above two options and therefore they will know it does not apply to you.

we wrote NA on the checklist for those two items.

Not sure if this will help but we included everything and at the top we put "N/A" or "Not Applicable" this way they know you've acknowledged the document but it just doesn't relate to your application. This is just what we did...possibly others didn't include, who knows, wait to hear what others have done. All the best for a speedy process.

I agree with Lila. We included the forms and wrote on the top of them, NOT APPLICABLE. I read somewhere else on here that it was best to do that for the package to be complete so we did it just in case.

I did what Honeybird did. I filled everything up online, I don't think I could have actually put N/A.

I too, didn't tick it and wrote N/A next to it.
