Hello friends,

I have some questions about exchanging my U.S. (Georgia) license to an Ontario one. I've had my license since August of 2015 (so four and a half years), and just ordered a certified MVR (7-year history, since I've had my license longer than the 3-year option) from the DMV. Will this be enough proof of my driving experience? I know you can self-declare one year, but if you want credit for more than that you have to have an official letter from the government that issued your license, which in my case would be the DMV, confirming the license is authentic. So my overall question is, is the certified MVR from the DMV enough to prove my license is authentic? Or what else would I need to look into obtaining from the DMV to prove my license is authentic? I am coming from Georgia, and I know requirements differ state to state.

Also, on the website it says to bring originals of accepted identity documents, would my passport and PR card be enough for this? And finally, it mentions bringing any original supporting documents that show proof of my driving experience, so would my MVR suffice for this? And is this a different requirement than the letter stating that my license is authentic?
