Hello need help,,,i was married to canadian citizen and being sponsored. My problem is that i was an ex-entertainer in Japan. The consutant that my husband hired told us that i am confusing and might be called for an interview and might visa denied because of my pass work in Japan.please help :(

WE Do need more entertainers in Canada, So That should be a PLUS for you.

And it's a bonus... you have something to offer Canada's culture if you choose to take up that career again while you're here. I'm hoping that my being an artist/illustrator will show that I have something to provide to the culture and economy.

+1 kiri.

My wife sang to me nearly every night before bed on the telephone. I thought she was sooo awesome until she confessed that she had a earphone in her other ear and she was moreless doing karaoke.lolol. Still awesome of course but I was so impressed by her initially that she had made me sing too. Gilligans island and whatnot(Christian, Halloween and Christmas songs) and I didnt do karaoke.

If she sounds anything like her it is beautiful. :)

Yes i went there legally. Thanks for all the shared thoughts,it really helps and i was relieved too.Just have to think too that what we applied here is because i am married too already that its because my husband wants us to be together already not getting working visa either right guys...

It was illegal too for my wife in Macau,China.

She wwent there not legal??? but i went to Japan Legally had my papers done legally before i went there had trainings too. :) but for example i got denied whats the possible way for me to do???could i take a tourist or visit visa right away so i could see my husband???o rcould i apply again but in another country??? like for example i will go to hkng get a work permit there and then apply as a nanny and get a working visa,do you think they won't question my first application thats been denied???

You could only be rejected if you have a criminal background or if they find that your relationship is fake.

ok thank-you for making this clear again.I still havae problem here when i filled up something like where am i for example 2005-2006 i was with my ex and living together but i wrongly wrote there i am studying but i don't intend to lie really instead of living together with my ex would i be denied there already???

You can apply for a temporary visa, but after a refused sponsorship you would probably not get one.

They keep records of all applications, so if you applied again they would look at the old refused application. As well, you have to report all previous applications on the new application.

If you have a lot of evidence that your relationship is genuine, you will probably get your PR visa.

If the visa officer finds out that you lied on the application, he/she can refuse your application and you can be banned for two years from Canada. There is no reason to lie in any case - living with an ex is not wrong, and it is not something that would get you refused. Studying or not studying does not matter for a spousal PR application.

You have already sent in this application with the lies on it, is that right? If you have not, then change it and tell the truth. If you have already sent it in, it will only be a problem if the visa officer finds out about the lies.

You shouldve reviewed everything before you gave your app. to your husband. I just hope everything will work out good for you.

yes my application was there already, but i didn't really lie.I put mistakenly somethinng like this
1999-2009= studying and work when it should be written as

1999-2001=studying
2001-2003=out of school and unemployed
later 2003=worked
2004-2005=worked
2008-2009=went back to the University
i should ave wrote it like this but in the application i wrote it all together will they
declare this that i lied or just mistake??? you think they officer will refused me then???

I think you should send in a form with the more detailed, correct info on it. Send it to the visa office processing your file, with your file number, name, date of birth on it. Just say you thought what you wrote was not detailed enough, and so you are providing them with more details. I don't think they will think you lied; the problem, judging from the example, is that you were not detailed enough.

ok thank-you,you mean i could still coorect the application even if its in the visa office already??? some mistakes that i wrote coz, also have discrepancies in some dates like iwrote in the form 2004/08-2005/01 and the correct should be 2004/07-2005/01

The best thing (I think) you can do is call the Manila Visa Office about that, Im pretty much sure they will answer your question. You can write the Manila Visa office about the discrepancies of the dates because they will be asking for your passport and if they notice the month that you left the country and the month you wrote in the application is different and you didnt warn them beforehand it will make your application kinda confusing.
