I was in a common law relationship in 2011 and 2012, and now I plan to marry and sponsor my other half from Mexico ??? into Canada. With this being said, I have looked at the forms for sponsorship, they seem straightforward (so far) I've noticed though that it mentions about the ex common law partners you've had in the past; I'm comfortable about enclosing this information, but I.. Can't remember my ex's middle names for the life of me. Do I need to find out their middle name(s) to put on the application, or can I skip this? Thank you :)

No! Don't skip the question!

Just provide the information that you have and include a separate note, explaining that you can't recall anything more about him/her.

Ah, that's all I need to do! I will gladly do that, I just was talking about skipping the middle names, but a note makes sense, thanks!

Originally from Australia, I should know about this, but I was also sponsored by my step-dad when I was 13. I'm gonna start reading much more on this forum to ensure that any other questions that we have is answered before we ask again.

Once again, thank you, Ponga! I'll gladly include this, and we are gonna get things started soon.
