Hello everyone,

My wife and I are currently gathering evidence and proof for our application. We right now are having a bit of an issue when it comes to getting all the proof condensed into a viable means since we have over 2 years worth of chat logs to document, as well as call information to one another. We particularly used Skype as a mean to chat, the big issue is it lacks any real way to export the information and the only other way was to screenshot every individual blurb and print it all out.

We were wondering though if it would ruin any type of authenticity if we copied it all into a word document then picked out parts of our logs that worked best?

Thank you everyone for your time, all help is much appreciated :)

I did screen shots of our Skype history, rather than individual calls.

For MSN, which we used most, I imported the history to MS Word, then did a sample of the chats, one day per week for 5 months, each day chosen at random. I made sure to include some specific days, though, such as Christmas, New Year's...occasion days, so to speak. I then included a note that there were more logs available on request.

I did lots of copying and pasting of my GMails into a word document. No questions asked.... so it must have been ok!

Alright, thanks for the feedback guys. Maybe what I'll do is copy over the logs to a word document then note to them what I exactly did and why. I'll probably have to cut out some stuff anyway otherwise I'd be printing a whole tree worth of paper.
