Hi.
I have 2 bank accounts (deposits).
First bank gave me a reference that I have a deposit and that value is about 10.000 CAD (the actual account is in local currency and CAD value is calculated based on the reference day exchange rate).
Second bank gave me a reference that I have a deposit and that value is about 5.000 USD.

Questions.
1. Is it ok to have reference mentioning USD instead of CAD?
2. How long the reference is valid? I plan to apply during the year.

Thank you in advance.

1. Is it ok to have reference mentioning USD instead of CAD? u'll have to make a conversion rate with it as u'll be putting the amount in CAD
2. How long the reference is valid? I plan to apply during the year. I think u'll have to submit that within 3 months.

Thank you in advance.

Can I simply mention CAD amount in accordance with current rate myself in the application form or it must be mentioned in the benk's reference letter?

u can do both, no problem.
it's better to assume the exchange rate more than the current rate.
