I've tried everything, and I have to leave Canada for a second time with no valid PR card, meaning I'll have to go through the PRTD process a second time.

I applied for a PR card renewal 1.5 years ago and have still been waiting. It's been approved, then it got lost in the mail. I sent off a solemn declaration and nothing, weeks later.

Is there anything else I can do to get a card? I try calling and leaving messages, but no one gets back.

Do you still meet your RO?

I think he does, he mentions : "I have to leave Canada for a second time with no valid PR card,". It looks like his PR card is either lost for the second time or something else is wrong here with IRCC.

His situation is like me. Got PR in late Feb. The so called IRCC sent their so called PR Card. Canada Post lost it and "IRCC" says they are still processing "Solemn Declarations" from Feb 2022. This is joke of a country!

My 3rd world country sends all the official documents using courier with tracking number.

Why cann't IRCC either :

1. Remove PR Card totally and uses only passport for identity during entry. Australia does it already. Somehow this is lost on Canada. We would rather neither have flies nor a tail.
OR
2. Send documents via a trackable mail or courier. Include shipping fee in application fees. It cann't be that hard but bone headed idiots in Ottawa can not fix things.

I mean Canada puts Residency Obligation on PRs but there is no freaken obligation on Canada. What a freaken joke!

It’s been 1.5 years so they may no longer meet RO which is important.
